Founding Legacy Sponsorship Opportunity
Little Rock Civil Rights History Tour
Presented by The Daisy Lee Gatson Bates Foundation
Become the Founding Legacy Sponsor. Your $5,000 sponsorship will help bring Little Rock's civil rights history to life across the entire tour app, told through Daisy Bates' experiences and documented words.
Next year, the nation will mark the 70th anniversary of the Little Rock Nine's historic integration of Central High School. As that milestone approaches, the Daisy Bates Foundation is honored to share the story of Daisy Bates—the woman whose leadership helped nine students change America.
The Daisy Bates Foundation invites you to become the FOUNDING LEGACY SPONSOR of DAISY BATES: IN HER OWN WORDS Little Rock Civil Rights History Tour, a storytelling and civil rights history tour app. Launching November 11, 2026, on Daisy Bates' birthday, the app will connect visitors with historic places, people, and events throughout Little Rock that helped change America.
Through 33 historic stops, the app connects places throughout Little Rock with the Arkansans whose courage, leadership, and determination helped shape our nation. Historical storytelling, audio, video, and archival material will help audiences understand what happened here—and the people who made it happen.
This Founding Legacy Sponsorship represents an investment in heritage tourism, education, and the preservation of the stories behind one of the most consequential chapters in American history.

There is only one Founding Legacy Sponsorship available. As the Founding Legacy Sponsor, you will be recognized for supporting the entire app and its 33 historic stops.
Your Founding Legacy Sponsorship includes:
The app gives visitors a reason to explore beyond a single landmark, connecting historic sites into a fuller experience of Little Rock. A self-guided format allows travelers, families, school groups, and convention attendees to explore at their own pace. That exploration can also encourage visits to nearby restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions, creating opportunities for local businesses.
People do not have to be physically present to discover these stories. Virtual exploration can introduce Little Rock's civil rights heritage to classrooms, families, researchers, and prospective travelers across the country and around the world. For those unable to travel, it offers access to the history; for others, it can inspire a future visit.
The app places local people at the center of the experience—from Daisy Bates and the Little Rock Nine to the families, journalists, neighbors, and community institutions connected to their struggle. It helps audiences see historic locations as places where Arkansans lived, worked, organized, and changed the course of history.
Launching now creates an educational and visitor resource ahead of the 2027 anniversary. The City's support would help establish an experience that can continue serving residents and visitors long after the commemorations conclude.
As the Founding Legacy Sponsor, you can demonstrate your commitment to preserving this history and making it accessible to future generations, while supporting an initiative that connects cultural heritage with meaningful visitor experiences.
We welcome the opportunity to discuss a sponsorship that aligns with your company's cultural, and educational priorities. We ask you to join us in ensuring that the stories rooted here continue to reach the world.
